The Joint will be jumpin’! With the help of Coastal Jazz and the Ironworks, Vancouver jazz fans are presenting a night to remember. The Great Classical Joint Reunion will bring Vancouver musicians and fans together in a tribute to Vancouver’s legendary Classical Joint, and it’s long-tiome proprietor Andres Nothiger. The “Joint”, an intimate space on Carrall Street which closed in 1990, was home to some of the greatest musicians in the city for over 20 years. At our reunion, a rhythm section of Joint all-stars will back-up a glittering array of players in a cooking jam session. There will be special guests, legendary Joint bands, lots of familiar faces, Joint memorabilia, ‘dark coffees’, and much more. Tell your friends. Visit vancouverjazz.com and Friends of the Classical Joint on Facebook. Much more news to come, so let’s get this party started!
